The State of Florida Scholarships
Florida offers several scholarship programs to eligible residents. Sunshine Christian Academy accepts scholarships administered by Step Up For Students, including FTC, FES-EO, and FES-UA, formerly known as Gardiner and McKay. SCA also accepts the AAA Scholarship. Each program has its own eligibility requirements.
Scholarship programs and award amounts may change. Families must pay any tuition or fees that their scholarship does not cover. Parents are also responsible for managing their student’s scholarship in partnership with Sunshine Christian Academy. Please contact the appropriate scholarship organization directly with questions about your account or eligibility.

Scholarships
As required by the FLDOE the following notice must be posted on our site for parents of students with a special needs scholarship:
A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended.

Our Mission
The Sunshine Christian Academy is a Christian school focusing on the Performing Arts and Academic Excellence. Formerly known as Sunshine Academy, Sunshine Christian Academy has been an established member of Manatee County for over 20 years. We take pride in our mission: “To assist students in finding their God given talents and empowering them to use those talents for His glorification.”
